BOLLYWOOD NIGHT

Ridhi and Leti put in 150% for all the volunteers here at the GVI Kerala house, but this time they really out did themselves. We were instructed to leave the house after school and not come back till eight o’clock. We all suspected that it was just a little leaving surprise for the volunteers who were going back home that weekend. But when eight o’clock rolled around we were instructed to go up onto the roof top, we had no idea what to expect. All seven of us: me, Nadia, Danielle, Nadra, Harkiran, Daria, Kirsty bolted up the stairs and there on the roof covered in fairy lights were pillows, sofa cushions and a projector ready for us all to watch a bollywood movie!! Ridhi and Leti had spent the whole evening preparing us a perfect rooftop bollywood movie night! And it was so much fun! The movie was called Dhabang, and was about a renegade policeman who ended up saving all of India and got the girl, and of course there was some definite dancing. I have to say it was one of the funniest nights since I have been here in India.
