Christmas fundraising!

Christmas is coming!!!!! And we want to be sure everybody has a very special holiday this year… We decided what we are going to do at the GVI House for Xmas celebration and is going to be fantastic, but what about our dearest local friends: our children?
There’s no way we can celebrate if they are not as happy as they deserve!
So… Decision made! GVI Kerala Team will make it super special for them!
We didn’t know how, where, when but we knew we are going to make this Christmas very special for the girls in the Home of Hope. After discussing a few ideas and getting some local support we started the “Special Christmas plan”.
First of all we set up a challenge for ourselves: 15km trek around the tea plantations in God’s own country. We explained our plan to Wilson (local travel agent) and without hesitation he donated one room in his Homestay to spend the night before our challenge on Dec 16th. Thanks Wilson! (let’s see how the five of us share one room, but this is another story..)
Once everything was arranged in Munnar was time to let EVERYBODY know how much we need their support.
We set up two fundraising pages so all our families, friends and every person who would love to make this Christmas a special one for this 37 indian girls can get involved and donate funds for all kind of educational and recreational resources that they usually don’t have, and bring this kids a lot of joy.
